The DC3 Terrorformer was one of only three assault landers built by Darknian forces during the Lunar War nearly 100 years ago. Only one of them saw active service before being shot down during the Battle of Basica. The second was scrapped for materials towards the end of the war. The third vanished from the records after the war era. Some evidence suggested that the Boldtarian Exiles used it to reach Moon IV. But after their deaths in 1998, the Terrorformer was never found. Then mysteriously, in 2089 VC, just before Valyancians began joining the Galactic Economy, the ship arrived in Spraw Sector with a crew of marines.

Notes: The Terrorformer is designed to carry troops to planetary battlefields. The weapons, if used in unison, can be effective in clearing a landing zone of enemy positions before or during offloading troops. Overall, the craft is very well armored, and fairly well armed. The Terrorformer's greatest weakness is lack of fast acceleration, something the prototype plasma drive fails to provide. Top speed is comparable to other crafts of its size, but getting to top speed can take up to three times longer. The Terrorformer is also not highly maneuverable at high speeds, although can function well during slower landing procedures. When split into modules, the Lander Module can be left on the surface as an armored base of operations (accommodating up to 10 soldiers for up to 30 days), and the combination of the Cockpit and Engine modules forms a moderately maneuverable scout craft for a crew of 3. Without the Lander, this scout has better acceleration and is refered to as the T-Bird.
