A modified version of the original Armageddon, the First Promontory has been in use by the Lortarian Lunar Guard for 80 years. This class of ship is known as the first of Valyancian design to include a full standing bridge. The current commander, Admiral Chuck Maelstrom is a hardened veteran of space combat and exploration.

Notes: Despite their aging design and out-dated propulsion system, the Armageddon Class battleships are known for their destructive power, especially with their CIG (Celestial Impact Generator) weapon, a non-explosive missile that can be launched with great accuracy and immense speed to deliver devastation to city-sized surface areas with no radiational side-effects.

Due to its mass, this ship cannot launch from most planet surfaces. However, it is equiped with emergency landing gear and can be dismantled into modules for return to orbit by rocket-tugs.
